Indianapolis Payroll Manger

Pay Rate: $25.00-$28.00/ hour

Job Type: Contract, Hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll, handle garnishments, direct deposit, print checks, stuff checks, reconcile payroll, etc
  • Support the accurate preparation and distribution of organizations payroll
  • Liaison with other departments, units, and locations for payroll problems

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of processing high volume payroll from start to finish
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Peoplesoft experience is a PLUS
  • Proficient in Microsoft and Excel
