We are hiring for a client in Columbus, IN who has a need for an HR Manager.

Job Responsibilities for HR Manager:

  • Manage facility activities in the areas of community relations, worker’s compensation, compliance, training, safety, and workforce planning
  • Plan, develop and implement company-wide HR initiatives, projects and processes
  • Coach and develop teams
  • Create and manage recruitment plans
  • Develop and lead training efforts
  • Oversee performance appraisals
  • Lead investigations, when necessary
  • Maintain HR reporting systems and metrics

Job Requirements for HR Manager of Benefits:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience within a union environment
  • PHR or SHRM-CP designation PREFERRED
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) PREFERRED
  • Ability to lead, mentor and motivate others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
