Now hiring for an Anderson, IN Recruiter.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with hiring managers as well as current employees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s roles and be able to successfully describe and explain each role to candidates.
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, helping managers find, hire and retain quality candidates.
- Remain active with job boards, social networks, career fairs and other platforms for finding quality candidates.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board(s)/company website/colleges/etc.
- Develop and update job descriptions, job ads and new hire announcements as needed.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications; invite qualified applicants for interviews.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, ensuring that all pre-hire activities have been completed before new hire’s start date.
- Extend Verbal and Written contingent job offers, start pre-employment testing, including background checks and drug screens.
- Ability to travel within the local area for job fairs and other recruitment events.
- Manage all items needed for new hire day 1 set up including equipment, location, system access, security, logistics, pay and benefits, I-9’s etc.
- Scheduling and presentation of New Employee Orientation, supplies a welcoming and energetic environment.
Qualifications:
- 2 or more years of experience in recruitment/human resources or a relevant client-driven role.
- Familiarity with job boards and applicant tracking systems.
- Proven success in conducting interviews using various methods (phone, in-person, and video)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Industry-specific knowledge preferred but not needed.
This role is onsite, M-F and 37.50 hours/week.
