That’s Good HR is proactively recruiting Medical Denial Management for future openings with our hospital client in Indianapolis, Indiana. Work in a growing hospital network that has a long standing history in Indianapolis! Team environment while also having the ability to work autonomously. Training provided!
In general, the Medical Denial Management positions will include the following responsibilities:
- Follow up with Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurances for outstanding charges
- Work denials and find resolution to get claim paid
- Reviewing medical charts, writing appeals to resolve denial
- Review pre-certifications and re-submit medical records with claim
To perform the Medical Denial Management job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position. The individual can identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully. Adaptability to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events is required. This candidate must also be able to consistently arrive at work on time, follow instructions, and respond to management direction and solicit feedback to improve performance.
- Experienced with commercial insurance systems or with Medicare and Medicaid online systems
- Associates degree related to the medical field preferred, (depending on experience)
