Hiring for a Inside Account Manager located in downtown Indianapolis.

That’s Good HR has partnered with a company on the west side of Indianapolis who has an immediate need for a Inside Account Manager.

Salary: $19 – $21.50 per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Hire, Temporary to Hire

Hours: 8 am – 5 pm

Inside Account Manager Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent and courteous customer service by understanding customer requirements and needs
  • Correctly capture customer requests in the company’s system
  • Receive customer communications, prepare orders and expedite delivery working with operations and logistics departments
  • Review accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders, and immediately correct any issues as needed
  • Assist with processing special orders and developing customer price lists
  • Learn and maintain high levels of product knowledge to properly service customers
  • Engage in upselling activates by anticipating customer needs
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customer to grow top line
  • Working as an advisor, inform customer of items not ordered or out of stock per regular ordering process. Offer appropriate alternatives that meet customer needs
  • Ensure accuracy of customer information and ensure data entry into company database is correct
  • Track stock levels
  • Coordinate customer training
  • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing personnel
  • Occasional weekend work is required
  • Attend trade shows as requested
  • Perform other duties as required by the supervisor

Inside Account Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree; or 2 – 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of food industry and related products
  • Adhere to customer service and sales principles and practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Knowledge of Inventory software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
